Ash’s dash with Leo lookalike
PUSSYCAT DOLLS babe ASHLEY ROBERTS seems to have a penchant for blokes hell bent on hiding their faces.
Fresh from pulling Bizarre Shagger Of The Year nominee LEONARDO DiCAPRIO, the blonde singer hit London last night with an equally camera-shy fella.
And Ashley herself seems to have caught the bug, clutching to her man pal with a concealing arm positioned across her face.
Though she quickly learned an important lesson on the perils of blocking one’s vision when her Louboutin heel came flying off as she stumbled outside Jalouse nightclub.
Meanwhile, coy Leo - who met Ashley last Sunday at a polo event in Surrey - surprised onlookers when he embarked on a bike ride across West London before stopping off for a burger.
The ever-present baseball cap and sunglasses remained but he didn’t once bow his head to block his face as he gorged on his greasy lunch.
Take it easy now Leo, you don’t want a Titanic belly.
DiCaprio’s green town
Remember when a massive tornado leveled the Kansas town of Greensburg? The calamitous weather event gave green celeb extraordinaire Leonardo DiCaprio an opportunity to act on an idea he’d been floating: rebuilding an entire town according to environmental ideals. The name Greensburg was just gravy.
The town residents themselves are spearheading the project, and DiCaprio is documenting the reconstruction on Planet Green TV (owned by Discovery Channel, which also owns Treehugger). The series, now in its second season, is also called Greensburg…who could resist?
As the show gains popularity, Greensburg, Kansas, is finding itself a tourist destination, with people coming from as far away as Australia to see what could be the wave of the future.
Interested in seeing for yourself? Find tourist information on the town’s website. If you don’t have cable, you can also find the show on Netflix.
Leonardo DiCaprio looking for UK home and lady
Leonardo DiCaprio is after an English country pile - with room for some British totty. And the Titanic star has turned to none other than Guy Ritchie for some advice on house (and woman) hunting.
Since his split from girlfriend Bar Rafaeli, he wants a clean break from their past and is ready to start afresh.
So he met up with his new pal at Guy’s pub The Punchbowl on Tuesday to pick his brains. Leo, who is filming The Inception, said: “I love England. I’ve got so many friends here and I’m fed up of going between hotels all the time while I’m filming.”
The lads then headed to Whisky Mist’s first birthday party. Over £10,000 worth of Patron tequila and Cristal champagne, Leo was heard saying: “Can you find me a British lady too.”
You know our number, Leo…
Forget Leonardo DiCaprio! Bar Refaeli finds love with new multi-millionaire boyfriend Teddy Sagi
The best way to get over your rich ex-boyfriend? Date someone richer.
That may be how supermodel Bar Rafaeli is recovering from her breakup with actor Leonardo DiCaprio.
Just weeks after their relationship ended, Rafaeli was spotted cozying up with multi-millionaire Teddy Sagi, 34, at a Britney Spears concert earlier this week, the Daily Mail reports.
With an estimated fortune of $500 million, Sagi, a gambling company founder, is among Israel’s top 30 richest men, according to Forbes magazine.
His firm Playtech was floated on the London Stock Exchange and is currently worth around $1.3 billion dollars. That puts the estimated $45 million DiCaprio earned last year to shame.
Rafaeli, 24, rose to fame in 2007 when she became the first Israeli model to appear in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue.
She and DiCaprio, 34, started dating in 2005, but the romance reportedly ended last month because DiCaprio thought the model was getting too serious.
“She wanted to move faster than he did, she wanted to move in together, so he broke it off,” a source dished to People.com.
Meanwhile, DiCaprio, who is currently filming “Inception” in London, seems to be enjoying his newly single status.
The actor has been flanked by female admirers, including blonde Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts, at a number of celebrity hangouts across the pond.
Bar forgets about Leo
Bar is currently dating a brasilian Ricardo Masur (23).
The people magazine has published an article about them being in Saint-Tropez on holidays, a place where she has been using for holidays since ever!
She’s been seen very happy drinking beer with a group of friends and her new partener.

Leonardo DiCaprio’s In London For Inception
London is playing host to Leonardo DiCaprio at the moment, as he films the new movie from Christopher Nolan, Inception. The plot of the movie is being kept vague, but the cast also includes Ellen Page, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Tom Hardy, with filming locations in several countries around the world. Leo spent a night out last night, first spending some time at Guy Ritchie’s pub The Punchbowl and then moving on to Whisky Mist, where he was seen surrounded by models. Let’s hope we see more of Leo out and about in the capital!

Leonardo DiCaprio to Produce Aquaman and Adam Strange Movies
The Hollywood Reporter has published an extensive article that touches upon the record number of DC Comics projects in various stages of development.
One of the big revelations from the article is news that Warner Bros. Pictures is currently accepting pitches (i.e. looking for writers) for separate movies based on Aquaman and Adam Strange. Both films will be produced by Appian Way which is helmed by Leonardo DiCaprio.
Aquaman has been swimming around Hollywood for several years but has yet to make a big splash. He was part of an HBO “joke” advertisement in Variety congratulating James Cameron on his record-breaking Aquaman film that, of course, did not exist. He was also the focus of an entire episode of Smallville at the WB, and then was to appear in his own standalone WB show whose completed pilot was never picked up.
Aquaman’s last failed attempt to rise from the depths was as a founding member of the Justice League in a Justice League of America movie. That film was on its way towards production under director George Miller until it was canned.
Adam Strange is known to draw comparisons to John Carter of Mars. In that comic, the protagonist is whisked off to Mars where grand adventures await. Strange is instantly teleported to the planet Rann where he must fend off alien invaders. Ironically John Carter of Mars is set to become a film under Andrew Stanton of Pixar fame.
If pitches are accepted and scripts turned in by year’s end, Aquaman and/or Adam Strange could find their way into theaters by 2011 at the earliest, or more likely 2012.

DiCaprio In Fan Car Chase Drama
14 July 2009 9:16 AM, PDT | From wenn.com | See recent WENN news
Leonardo DiCaprio was involved in a high speed car chase over the weekend (11-12Jul09) - when a group of female fans tailed him across London. The star is in the British capital to film new movie Inception, and enjoyed a night out at the city’s Jalouse nightclub with pals on Sunday. He was surrounded by a gaggle of fans eager to catch a glimpse of him in the club - but the attention didn’t stop when he left the hotspot. A group of overeager women followed DiCaprio by car - and it took the skill of his driver to lose them. A source tells The London Paper, “It was crazy. There was a car full of of women chasing Leonardo’s car. His driver was desperately trying to shake them off. In the end he managed to lose them.”
Chris Nolan’s Inception Comes To London
Forget about Batman 3 folks, seriously you’ll be much happier if you do, because Batman director Chris Nolan is currently working on another little gem for Warner Bros - Inception - and Inception has come to London!
The star studded project features Leonardo DiCaprio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Ellen Page, Cillian Murphy, Ken Watanabe and Michael Caine and is currently being described as “contemporary sci-fi actioner set within the architecture of the mind.”
The film crew have been spotted in and around the prestigious University College London shooting “Oliver’s Arrow”, which is the codename that Inception is currently shooting under. According to a source on the IMDB boards:
The film crew for “Oliver’s Arrow” today invaded UCL’s Wilkins building to film some scenes in various locations within the Main Library. Michael Caine, Leonardo di Caprio and Ellen Page were on location filming scenes in what had been dressed up (with fake signage) to be the “Bibliotheque” of the “Ecole de Architecture” in France.
From what I could gather from the scene being shot in the Flaxman Gallery (I couldn’t hear much), Leonardo di Caprio’s character was being introduced to a graduate student named Ariadne (played by Ellen Page) by Michael Caine’s character, who tells Ariadne that Leo’s character has a job offer for her. (That wasn’t too confusing)
Other scenes were being shot in a lecture theatre and a reading a room and some of the library’s corridors.
Michael Caine looked like he was playing a similar character to the one he always plays lately, Ellen Page looked like a plucky young student, and Leo di Caprio just looked moody and “focussed” (toying with the toothpick-in-between-the-teeth look).
The source has also said that filming was one day only, and so is not thought to include any big scenes. I have to admit that I have very high hopes for this production, I wasn’t a huge fan of The Prestige (shot between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight) but this is looking very promising. If Warners have handed over a $200 million budget as recently reported, then they obviously they’re of the same mind.
What do you think? Expecting big things from Nolan or is this film already falling victim to over-hype?
