First Vacation, Then Go Do Your Banking

News?

We found some! It’s not an illusion, it’s not going to disappear if you rub your eyes too hard in disbelief–we have news!

First: flickandbits.com has the new Django cover of Premiere. Also some plot information we already possess, but hey. Hunting over the Premiere website does not held this little gem, but here you go.

Second, and currently, everywhere: DiCaprio and Rob Pattinson may or may not be going on vacation together. Just google it for how many blurbs there are to choose from, but this one has the prettiest photo. Also, the random information that Appian Way is producing a Ben Affleck movie, Runner Runner, confirmed by imdb.com. In case you’re bored, some sites are even speculating on what the two will discuss.

More interesting? Dicaprio and Jonah Hill in New York on Tuesday on a secret on a mission for Wolf of Wall Street: researching…banking. Cannot say I am jealous of that, but if it means Scorsese is getting ready to start work, I’m all for it. A likely story, you say. Here’s proof, I say. According to business insider.com, they’ve read the script. They produce highlights here–foul language warning.

As for Gatsby, the New York Daily News has this tidbit on Amitabh Bachchan. Bachchan stars as Wolfsheim, and discusses why he did the role gratis.

That’s all for now folks! Have a great weekend!

Jean Dujardin to join Leonardo DiCaprio in ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’

Academy Award-winner Jean Dujardin is in talks to join Martin Scorsese’s financial thriller The Wolf of Wall Street, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. DiCaprio is playing Belfort, a Long Island penny stock broker who served 20 months in prison for participating in a massive 1990s securities fraud that involved widespread corruption on Wall Street and in the corporate banking world, including mob infiltration. Belfort — who owned a yacht that sank off the coast of Sardinia and who became an alcoholic and drug addict — served as an inspiration for Ben Younger’s 2000 movie Boiler Room.

Hill is set to play Danny Porush, who is convinced by his future best friend and business partner Belfort to quit his job in furniture sales and enter the lucrative yet volatile world of stock brokering. The film chronicles the duo’s meteoric rise and colossal fall amid scandal, fraud and excess.
DiCaprio and Scorsese are producing with Red Granite’s Riza Aziz and Joey McFarland, as well as Emma Koskoff of Sikelia Productions and Alexandra Milchan of EMJAG Productions. Red Granite is financing the picture.

Production is slated to begin in August in New York.
