David Dobrik Links Up With Leo For Second Voter Registration Contest

David Dobrik shattered records with his first-ever campaign for Headcount — a national, nonpartisan nonprofit that promotes voter registration — whereupon the 24-year-old YouTube luminary gave away five Teslas in a sweepstakes that asked participants to check their voting status and register. That campaign saw over 100,000 new voters registrations in 24 hours — and ultimately clocked a total of 120,000 registrations — making it the largest such endeavor in Headcount’s history.
Now, Dobrik — who counts 72.6 million followers across all platforms, is teaming up with Oscar winner Leonardo DiCaprio on a second initiative that will offer participants the opportunity to spend a day in Los Angeles with Dobrik and DiCaprio (after the coronavirus pandemic subsides, of course).
In order to enter, participants must download Outvote, and then text five friends through the app — which syncs users’ contacts and furnishes them with a script containing the appropriate outreach — before 5 pm ET on Nov. 3. In addition to the grand prize, if participants text more than 50 contacts, they are eligible to receive a phone call from Dobrik himself.
The latest campaign, like its predecessor, was designed by Metro Creative — the sister agency of Metro Public Relations — and is being conducted in partnership with Global Citizen as part of Headcount’s #GoodToVote campaign. #GoodToVote, which was the brainchild of YouTube exec Ben Relles, is a creator-focused initiative that has tapped the likes of Jack Douglass, Alisha Marie, DeStorm Power, and Rebecca Black to take on various challenges — like shaving off their beards or previewing exclusive content — as an incentive to get viewers to register.
Every Vote Counts — A Celebration of Democracy
The star-studded special will be hosted by Alicia Keys, America Ferrera, and Kerry Washington, and include appearances from Amy Schumer, Chris Rock, Cobie Smulders, Coldplay, Eva Longoria, Jennifer Lopez, Kelly Clarkson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Natalie Portman, Shaquille O’Neal, Tan France, and more.
The show will also include special musical performances from Keys, Dan + Shay, Offset, Shawn Mendes, and others.
The nationally televised event will air live on CBS and iHeartMedia radio stations (and the app) at 9 p.m. ET on Thursday, Oct. 29. It will also be live-streamed simultaneously across a multitude of platforms, including Apple Music, Apple TV, Amazon Music, Twitch, NowThis, YouTube, Twitter, TIDAL, and Facebook.
The show is about honoring and celebrating the power of voting through music, dance, and dialogue. It’s meant to be a nonpartisan celebration of American democracy, with the ultimate goal of uplifting the power of civic action and the value of our right to vote.
In addition to the special appearances and musical performances, the special will also feature interviews with everyday voters and information on how to vote, allaying concerns around voting amid a pandemic. The special is designed to inspire viewers to rally their families and communities to go to the polls and make their voices heard.
“I am honored to join my co-hosts in bringing together all of these amazing artists, musicians, community leaders, and American voters to celebrate our democracy,” said Ferrera in a statement. “Our right to vote has never been more precious or vital. This celebration is an opportunity to uplift our country and to inspire one another to joyfully act on our most fundamental right and responsibility as Americans. Our vote is our voice. And ‘Every Vote Counts.’”

Gallery Registration
The gallery is now open for registration since I can no longer have it open. So feel free to self register and no mass downloading or it will lock up the server for 3 days.
DiCaprio Photos is Closed
Had to close down the gallery cause we are exceeding the server we are currently on. So to avoid that we either need to closed the gallery to the public or move servers which will be costly and since I don’t have the funds for that well it will mostly likely be taken offline. So that is what is going on at the moment.
