Not much news this weekend, fans.
Well, unless you have $150,000 laying around for a rental. In which case, this weekend could mark when you begin renting a certain Malibu beach house, according to The Miami Herald and its misleading photos of another villa.
Renting DiCaprio’s Piece of Malibu
The Miami Herald is a little slow though, since Us Magazine ran this news on May 22nd with the appropriate pics. How did the Herald miss that?
To correct the problem, here is what the “Cape Cod-inspired home” does look like. Either DiCaprio has a penchant for clustering his pristine furniture and filling the kitchen with granny smith apples, or this has been tastefully staged by the broker. How do you like them apples? $150,000 worth? Let us know if the giant fridge is filled with them too, and extra points if you keep track of how many times you hit your head on the weird pillar rising out of the breakfast bar.
But if you use the beachfront deck to start proclaiming yourself king of the world, we will disavow posting this link.
You’ve been warned.
Django Unchained:
On the Django front, Tarantino has launched a Django contest with Red Bull that could land you at Comic Con! Yahoo explains it here, but you can also do directly to the site here to learn more.
The Great Gatsby:
Nothing breaking, so content yourselves with brushing up on trivia about the novel itself from The Guardian.
