Chapter 1
Captain Smith had just finished drinking his cup of tea and decided to hold a meeting in the ship's conference room.
"My fellow officers and staff, I have asked you all in here because I have an announcement to make," Captain Smith said.
"I have decided to plan a ball for everyone aboard to come and enjoy. I will select some of you to help out with certain jobs to help make this ball a wonderful event. I will post a chart here in the conference room after I dismiss everyone to let you know who will be responsible for what they must take charge of. This is all, gentlemen, Thank you for your time and have a great afternoon."
After the meeting was over, Captain Smith posted the chart he filled out for the ball's preparations.
"Mr. Moody!" shouted Fifth Officer Lowe.
Sixth Officer Moody quickly ran in the conference room.
Mr. Lowe turned to Mr. Moody with a grin on his face and said, "Sir, I just read the chart and me and you are in charge of all the decorations."
Mr. Moody made eye contact to Mr. Lowe and said, "Let's get together and write down what decorations that will be needed."
Mr. Lowe went into the chart room to get his notebook and pen.
"Okay, the things that we will need for decorations are balloons, bows, garlands of flowers, and streamers," Mr. Moody said as Mr. Lowe made a note of the items.
"Thank you, Mr. Moody," said Mr. Lowe, "I'll go ahead and buy the decorations. I'll see you later."
Mr. Lowe waved as he headed to the ship's party store. While he was gone, Mr. Moody decided to go in to his cabin and take a nap for a while.
