Chapter 2
Elaine pondered the next few days wondering what she was gonna do she knew John Herod was a bad guy and he had not been the one to rape or shoot her. It was the others that had done that to her. She was very confused.
The next few days after that Elaine decided to let it go. It was in the past. She made plans for the wedding unsure if Fee was ready to commit. He was still young and she was wondering if he had made the right decision to go through with it. She didn’t sleep with him for the past week letting him get very edgy and in desperate need of sexual bliss. She thought that maybe before the wedding she should at least give him something to think about that would make up his mind if he hadn’t already. She pulled out a beautiful dress. She never wore it before she had bought it when she had thought of Doc. Her ploy to make him want her to rid herself of her child like image. But with no avail it didn’t work.
The quick draw was nearly at an end. Kid and John were left. Elaine feared for her husband to be. She didn’t want him to die. She would figure someway to get him out of it or die trying. She made the best dinner with the help of the barkeeper. She borrowed some stuff and put everything in its setting. Elaine thought that tonight it was either a make or break moment. She invited Fee over at 8:00 p.m.
By that time she had gotten everything ready. Someone knocked on the door. Elaine opened it.
"Yes?" Elaine answered.
"My dad said you should use these." The little girl gave her two candelabras and two beautiful wine glasses.
"Tell your dad. I owe him." Elaine whispered to the little girl.
The little girl left. Fee was on his way she could see him down the street. He wasn’t dressed in his normal attire. He wore a black western type suit. He looked handsome as ever.
She put the candelabras on the table and the wine glasses on each side of the table. When she got her silk shawl he knocked on the door.
She went to answer it. He stood there.
"Hello my lady." He bowed with such poise.
"Fee come in." "Everything is done. Why don’t you have a seat?" Even though she was a little taller than him it didn’t matter at all to him.
He sat, but got up and assisted her to sit first. When he had done that he went back to sit down. "You sure know how to design a setting angel."
"Thank you, Fee."
"Please call me, Andrew."
"Andrew?"
"My real name is Andrew Philippe Herod. I never liked the name so I used Fee after Philippe."
"Not bad, if you ask me."
They started to eat. Elaine poured the wine.
Fee had loved her. He thought that she didn’t want him or that he wasn’t good enough for her.
He really wanted to marry her.
"Elaine?"
"Yeah."
"I really love you."
She saw in his eyes that he had meant every word. "I love you Andrew."
He held the wine glass in his hand. "To our future." He raised the glass to hers.
He stood up before her grabbed her hand and brought her to stand by him.
"You’re like a glittering angel." He moved a curl of her hair and touched the dangling diamond earrings she wore.
She brought his lips to hers. They kissed for what seemed like an eternity. Elaine brought him to her bed they fell into a heap of burning passion. Clothes went this way and that way. Each hungered for their own release. As she kissed every spot on his body she arose to such a height that she felt like she was in heaven. She rode him hard and fast making him breath at an unsteady rhythm. He pounded into her raging mad with desire. Elaine shuttered at her own release while he made her beg for mercy.
Each lay satiated in passion’s fire. They had brought each other so much it was unlikely that they would ever part.
"Andrew?"
"Yeah?" He said barely gaining control of his breath.
"I will never doubt you ever again." Elaine fell asleep on his shoulder.
He never felt so much joy in his heart than at this moment.
Elaine remembered an old family recipe something that would make you awfully sick. She mixed the concoction into Fee’s wine glass. She lay back down and went to sleep.
In the morning she awoke and Fee was not there. She glimpsed at the wine glass, it was empty.
She knew Fee was probably sick right now retching his guts out. He came back after a while.
"Elaine!" He yelled.
She awoke her heart almost jumping out of her skin! "What?"
What did you put in that wine?
Nothing I drank it like you did. Maybe you’re allergic?
Allergic?
Yeah you might be allergic to the ingredient I add to it?
And what was that?
Mandrake.
Mandrake?
It’s an herb to make you strong.
Strong or an aphrodisiac?
Kinda a little of both. Why?
Cause now I can’t perform at the quick draw.
I could take your place.
Nah I will just forfeit. I have never forfeited in my life Elaine.
I’m sorry truly I am.
Did you do this on purpose?
If I did would you blame me?
Elaine just answer the question.
All right. I am guilty I didn’t want you to fight him. I love you, Fee. I didn’t want you to die. No matter how good a shooter you are. I didn’t want to be a widow before I was even married to you.
I understand. I know you love me and I know you care but you had no right to do that to me.
I know I didn’t. She got up out of bed and slapped him in the face.
Damn what was that for?
I don’t know it just seemed right.
He pushed her back against the wall. She fought back.
She hit him repeatedly and without regret she felt he deserved it for yelling at her. She remembered when her ex-boyfriend use to yell at her. She hated it.
You never yell at me. Elaine slapped him again. He tried to kiss her.
You kiss me and I’ll bite you.
You wouldn’t dare.
No? You just try that again.
He put his lips close to her and she almost bit him.
Damn You!
He fought against her. She slapped and kicked him.
He got mad and forced her down on the bed.
She lay there resisting. He held her arms down. He teased her with his lips.
I want you, Elaine.
You can’t have me.
He kissed her lips and she bit his lower lip. She bit it so hard she made him bleed.
He didn’t even feel the pain he was so angry.
I will have you.
And so you shall. She kissed him not wanting to fight anymore.
Fee’s temperature rose probably because of the mandrake he had become very passionate and erotic.
She ripped off what she wore. He did the same.
They made love in a raging hot passion. Fee gasped for every breath that he had in him to satisfy Elaine real good.
Elaine screamed out in a high pitch. Reaching her peak.
Oh god Elaine. He said as he spent everything he had within her.
He realized that he had might of gotten her pregnant the other times he had pulled out.
She lay there feeling her insides beat with satisfaction.
Fee?
Yeh!
If we conceived a baby tonight could we name it after you?
Ok.
She felt like an electric charge had illuminated her womb. She wasn’t ever pregnant before but she knew something was up.
She had a few men in her life but not many. Since Elaine set out on her journey she had met guys but none like Fee he was of different stock.
Elaine had a sister named Ellen. She was a beauty. Beautiful blond hair and creamy white skin Elaine had always tried to be like her. When they were kids Ellen was always the smart one. Daddy had always loved her. Elaine hated that and when they hung her daddy it was Ellen who had to shoot him down and not Elaine. Even though Elaine knew she could do it.
Fee I have to ask you something?
What about?
Ever heard of a girl named Ellen.
He had remembered Ellen last year she had won the quick draw contest against Cort the reverend.
Yeah I remember an Ellen blond hair. Sexy like a kitten.
I knew it!
What did you know?
Ellen is my sister Fee.
Ellen is your what?
Yes I never told you but when they hung my daddy she was the one who had to shoot him down, but she never made it she shot him in the head instead.
So your Ellen’s little sister?
Yeah.
They laid down thinking.
Where did she go Fee?
I don’t know she ran out on me.
Did you love her? Did you have her?
Elaine I know what your getting at and yes I did have her, but you’re the one.
You swear?
I do Elaine.
Elaine turned away from him and thought about Ellen.
Ellen rode in thinking about Fee she shouldn’t have ever left him when she cared so deeply for him. She walked into the bar.
Hey barkeep seen Fee around.
Umm no Ellen. He lied.
Well tell him when you see him. I am back.
The barkeeper sent his daughter to Elaine’s room to deliver the message.
Who is it? Fee asked.
It’s me Cordie.
He put on his pants and opened the door.
What’s up Cordie?
Ellen’s back in town she’s downstairs. It was showdown time been Elaine and Ellen.
Elaine wake up?
What Fee?
Ellen’s back.
She’s what?
Yeah she’s down stairs.
He was already dressed. I am gonna go talk to her see what she wants come down when your dress.
Elaine grabbed her other clothes and hurried.
Fee saw Ellen drinking a Whiskey shot.
Ellen?
Fee.
Why’d you come back Ellen? You told me that you didn’t care and you left me?
I was very upset after shooting the revered Fee. I killed him what part didn’t you miss.
Ellen I am with someone else now we are getting married.
So you finally married Irene.
Nope.
Hello Ellen. Elaine was behind her.
Elaine what are you doing here?
I am with my fiancée Fee.
So you marrying Fee. You know Elaine you always wanted what I had always well now you finally got it you damn whore.
Elaine slapped Ellen.
I am no whore Ellen. You shot daddy and let them rape and kill me you didn’t do a damn thing.
Don’t you think I can’t forget about that? Don’t you think it hurts me?
You never told me you cared Ellen. I was fifteen you were eighteen. I was a virgin Ellen.
Ellen cried. Elaine grabbed Ellen and brought her upstairs to her room. The bed was messed up.
I am sorry Ellen.
Don’t Elaine don’t be sorry. It was my fault I am so sorry.
Well its in the past now.
I will leave you two alone. I need a drink. Fee decided they needed some time alone.
Bye Fee. She waved to him.
He didn’t feel comfortable knowing he had the two women he loved. Never had he had two sisters.
Ellen do you love Andrew?
Andrew?
Yeah Fee never told you his real name?
No Elaine. I never got that close to him.
But you had sex with him Ellen. Why would he not tell you?
I don’t now Elaine. Maybe he loves you more.
He would have been there for you Ellen possibly even marry you.
I know Elaine.
Don’t feel guilty about the past there was nothing you could do and it was my fault I bad mouthed those men. So where did you go Ellen? Elaine could speak about her experience before she always kept it to herself she wasn’t proud it happened at all.
I was in New Mexico I trailed the ones that got you and dad they’re dead now. I killed them. She confessed.
Oh Ellen. She held her sister to her.
Elaine you know who’s here the last one who needs pay. Ellen looked at her.
I know Ellen. He made you hold the gun that shot daddy. I must admit I somewhat hate him but he’s Fee’s father.
I know Elaine that’s what makes it all more harder. Elaine you grew so fast I remember when you were this shy little girl. Hey didn’t you like that guy what was his name?
Tom. I remember he always use to look at you, you know since you had breast before I did.
Yeah and I remember telling him that if he didn’t go out with you. I wouldn’t give him what he always wanted.
Yeah but Ellen that was a pity date he didn’t like me like I liked him.
But Elaine it was funny when you turned the sprinklers on him.
Yeah it was. They laughed together.
Aww sis I have missed you.
Me too.
So what are we gonna do about Fee? Elaine asked.
Nothing Elaine he’s yours. Ellen said and laid down.
