Chapter 10
Jack sat on top of the roof of his apartment building. He looked at the city lights; his heart was broken in two. He really missed Rose. He didn’t know what to do to get her of his mind, he thought no matter what he did she would always be in his thoughts. He had lost his memory once and he still thought of her. His love for her was too strong.
He sat lonely on top of the roof. The store near by had it’s radio on again. “You’re beautiful” was coming on again. Jack shook his head.
“You don’t like that song anymore Jack.”
Jack turned around, it was Rose.
“Rose? What are you doing here? Where is Jimmy?” he asked in shock.
“He is with Rhonda.”
“How come you never told me he was mine?”
“I was scared, but I’m sorry. You didn’t deserve that. I also came to...”
“Shh, come here.” He interrupted her and getting her hand. She walked to him.
“Remember that day at the beach, when we heard this song?”
“Yeah, I REMEMBER.” She said smiling. He smiled too and got her in a dancing position.
“Do you want to dance?” he asked.
“On a roof, Jack?”
“Yeah! What could be more romantic? Come on.” He said and they started to dance. She giggled. “I feel so silly.” She said.
“Yeah me to, but love makes us look silly.” He said. “Are you trying to say you love me Jack?” she asked. She had asked him that so many times before in the past. He kissed her nose.
“More than words babe, more than words.” He said.
“Yep, you are back. You haven’t changed.” She said smiling. He leaned closer to her ear; she laid her head on his shoulder.
“I LOVE YOU.” He whispered in her ear. She looked at him and smiled with a tear running down her cheek. He wiped away and kissed her. He let go of her lips and looked at into her eyes. “You are beautiful.”

Years passed, Jack and Rose got married and they took plenty of pictures. They had a second child, a little girl which they named Destiny. They lived happy, Jack would draw Rose all the time and the kids. They would spend their time in the beach and in the park. Jimmy and Destiny looked just like their parents and even started to develop some of their abilities. Destiny loved to draw and Jimmy loved to take pictures.
One day Jack, Rose and the kids were at the park. Jim and Destiny were playing with a soccer ball. Rose cheered them on while Jack started to draw them. Rose took a picture of them.
“Look babe, do you like the drawing?” he asked.
“I love it. That way they can never forget about their childhood. They will always be
reminded of it.” Rose said smiling. Jack kissed her and she kissed him back.
“Always remember that I love you Rose!” he said.
“I will always remember, because I love you to!!” she said and hugged him.
“Love is in the heart Rose, memories of love are in the mind.” He said and kissed her.
“When we grow old, we’ll have pictures to remind us of our past. Jackie lets take a picture together!” she said.
“Alright, let’s take a family picture!” he said getting up from the bench. They got Jimmy and Destiny and asked a woman if she could take the picture for them.
“Alright kids give a big smile!!” Rose yelled. The woman started to get the camera ready. Jack kissed both their heads and kissed Rose. “Okay it’s ready.” The lady said.
“Okay say cheese!!” Jack said.
“CHEESE!” they all said. Flash!
Another picture, another memory.
