She is mad for Rick, an American soldier. Jack joins the army to try to be honorable to impress Rose. He confesses his love to her before he leaves but she says she doesn't share the same feelings, Jack leaves with his heart broken, Rose realizes that she is incomplete without her best friend Jack, and she wants to know what the stars tell him, but The U.S. joins the Vietnam war and Jack is taken over there. Will he ever have the chance to tell her? Or will destiny play a cruel game?
