A man in search of something new, something different flew to Africa . He didn't know quite what he was looking for; he only knew where he had felt his heart belonged.

He had worked for his company for 12 years as an accountant. He was single never married, no children, no attachments. One day he never showed up for work packing his life into a small suitcase and set off for a destination unknown to him until he had heard Africa announced in the PA in the airport.

He had a lot of money put away so his expenses didn't matter. Someway, some how Africa reached out toward him, calling him to come. He felt something had called him there for a purpose. His life in New York had been unsatisfying he never dated or at least he never had the nerve to ask a woman out. He was quiet at times despite all this he wasn't really lonely. Even if this man didn't know anything about where he was going. There was always something missing in his life and he vowed to find it.

He got a lot of supplies and headed into the wilderness. He made camp when it got dark. He'd eat only a small portion not knowing if he would ever find a town or tribe. In the following days, he grew to love the African rainforest. Sometimes he would spot creatures flying above him, which were mostly monkeys, which he enjoyed more than anything else.

The next week, he ran into a gorilla. He didn't know what quite to do. He stood still not able to move. In the shadows a woman appeared. She reacted to his presence telling him to crouch down. He did as she motioned him to, within a couple of seconds it was gone.

The woman appeared to him with an attitude. “Who are you?” “What are you doing here?” “Do you know you could have been killed?”

He didn't answer he began to feel an overwhelming sensation that he had found his destiny, finally someplace he felt like he could call home.

He started to speak.

I'm Bill. Bill Thompson.

Well Bill come with me. You don't want to be out here at night.

Yes I know. I have been traveling for 2 weeks.

Wow how have you survived out here this long and such a distance?

Will power mostly.

Well Bill nice to meet you.

Nice to meet you too. Uh?

Diane Foster.

Do you live out here?

Somewhat I am studying gorilla's behavior, my friend Gloria Hollaran was transferred and I was stationed here.

Well Miss Foster, I believe it was my destiny to find you.

Really the hell you say.

Really Diane never in my life have I been attracted to a woman so much in my life and at this moment.

Well thank you I think.

Diane Foster college graduate, principal's honor roll at Harvard, rich spoiled brat, single and very wild. She would have jumped on a guy like Bill in a second, but that was the old Diane. She let him wash up and she lay on the little cot.

He came out wearing only a towel around his waist.

Diane? Do you have anything I can wear I washed my clothes out by the river but there's nothing that's dry.

She glanced at his chest.

Yeah Sure. She searched through her things finding a big shirt and baggy shorts.

Here ya go.

Thank you for your hospitality.

He changed in front of her and thought nothing of it.

Diane watched this blonde god in awe. She had never met a man who was so uncaring about a woman presence when he changed.
