The next day, Leo entered the studio. Tobey waited patiently. When Leo arrived, there was also another actress added at the last minute, Kate Winslet. The character Nadia was played by Claire Danes. She was talented in her work. So was Kate. They all made a great team. The movie had no title yet, so they all just played around and kicked back. When the director came in, they all got serious.

"Kate, Claire, meet Tobey and Leo," the director introduced them.

"Hello, Leo." Kate shook Leo's hand.

Claire shook Tobey's hand.

They all eventually got to know each other. Two girls and two guys. Everything seemed perfect.

When the director said action, everyone got in their positions.

Leo and Claire had their first scene.

"Hey, Nadia." He waved to her.

"Hey, Peter." She looked up from a book she was reading.

"What's up?" he asked.

"Nothing much." She put her book away. "Are you waiting for your friend?" she asked.

"Yeah. Are you?" he asked her, too.

"Yeah. I am waiting for my friend Alison," Claire said.

"Yeah. My friend David should be coming soon." Leo grabbed his backpack and brought it onto his shoulder a little higher because it was slipping.

Just then, Tobey and Kate showed up.

"Hey, guys!" Leo said.

"Alison, meet Peter, and this is his friend, David," Nadia told Alison.

"Hey. Nice to meet you." Kate blushed at Leo.

"Nice to meet you, too." He blushed back.

"So, are we gonna go to the movies or what?" Nadia said, to break up the weirdness.

"Yeah." Kate went with Claire.

"Come on, David." Leo grabbed Tobey, who kept staring at Claire.

They all pretended like they were going to the movies.

The director yelled cut.

"Great take, you guys. You guys were born to make movies. Since you did so great, you guys can take a day off since we are ahead of schedule," the director said.

"Cool," Leo said.

Tobey agreed. They had worked hard.

"So, girls, got any plans?" Leo asked them.

"Not really, Leo," Claire said.

"I don't, either," Kate said.

"Great. How about we all go to the movies together for real?" Leo asked.

"You mean like a date?" Claire asked.

"Sure. Why not?" Leo really looked forward to going on a date with Kate.

"Okay, but who goes with who? I mean, who is going to be with who?" Tobey asked.

"Well, Tobey, you can have first pick," Leo said, just waiting for him to choose.

"Hey, we have feelings, you know, and I think Kate and I both know which guy we would like to go with on this so-called date. Right, Kate?" Claire interrupted.

"Well, I think so, but who are you gonna go with?" Kate asked before she chose.

"I am gonna go with Tobey. You can go with Leo." Claire knew Kate liked Leo.

"Okay. Sounds good," Kate said.

Leo had liked Claire, but there was something about Kate that he liked. It was the same with Tobey. He liked Claire totally.

Leo drove and Kate got in the front seat. Tobey got in the back seat with Claire.

They decided to go to a drive-in theater that would kill the publicity of them showing up together.

Leo parked his car and the girls stayed behind while Tobey and Leo went to gather refreshments.

"Hey, Leo, do you like Kate?" Tobey asked as they walked.

"Yeah. Why?" Leo rubbed his hands together. It was rather cold outside and he had forgotten his jacket.

"No, I mean really like her, like a girlfriend?" Tobey was interested.

"Maybe. Why?" Leo asked, trying to block out the cold.

"Because I like Claire like that. I hope she likes me." Tobey blushed.

"She does. Come on. Let's get the popcorn before the movie starts," Leo said to break the conversation. He knew Tobey was nervous.

"All right." Tobey hustled faster and so did Leo. By the time they came back, the commercials were barely beginning.

When they got to the car, the girls were sitting back, watching the advertisements.

"Hey, Tobey. Want to change seats?" Leo asked him.

"Why?" Tobey asked.

"Because I don't want to sit here. You and Claire can sit up front." Leo wanted to feel relaxed, not crushed.

"All right. Come on, Claire." Tobey got out of the car with Claire.

They quickly exchanged seats.

Kate sat in the back with Leo. The popcorn sat in the middle, and everyone chowed down.

Leo got closer to Kate, but she didn't mind.

When he put his arm around her, she started to feel weird. But it was comforting, too.

Kate was fifteen years old. Never in her life had she dreamt that she would be watching a movie in a car with a cute guy.

"Kate?" Leo whispered.

"Yeah?" she whispered back.

"Can I kiss you?" He looked at her with those eyes.

Kate felt hot underneath her skin. If it was light, you would be able to see her blush like the color of a red rose.

"Yes," she said.

He got closer to her and started to kiss her.

She kissed him. His lips were so soft and wet. She became excited and her inexperienced body became aware of him. She pulled back.

"Leo, can we take this slow?" she asked.

"Sure. I am sorry if I did anything wrong, but I like you, Kate." He backed off.

"I like you, too, Leo. You know, Leo, if we ever make a film together again or see each other when we're older, let's make a promise to be together," Kate said.

"Well, Kate, we shall see, but if we do another film together, you're mine for sure." Leo smiled at her.

She kissed him.

He had loved her lips upon his. He had dated but never gone all the way, at least not yet. He respected women. He truly did. For the rest of the night, Leo and Kate watched the movie together. Sometimes during it, they kissed or made jokes about Tobey and Claire. They had fun that night and they never forgot it.
