Breaking these rules, or doing other things deemed inappropriate by the administrators will result in possible message deletion and/or banning.
Administrators
Administrators hold the right to uphold all rules of the tagboard to ensure tagboard functions as a peaceful and friendly place. Members of the administration are not be hassled, ignored, or made fun of. Administrators have no duty to explain why users are banned. Read the following rules to see why you may have been banned. Administrators are not to be pestered with emails demanding to be unbanned either.
Impersonating Leonardo DiCaprio, etc.
Users who impersonate Leonardo, or anyone in relation to him will be banned and no consideration of removing the ban will be made.
Flooding
Messages consisting of only smilies and messages of no value will be considered flooding. They will be deleted immediately.
Plugging
I don’t mind the plugging, just don’t plug too much.
Do not plug peer to peer network links, they are forbidden.
Do not plug any link that is software based or otherwise.
Assuming Multiple Identities
All IP numbers of every computer can be recorded on the tagboard. If a user assumes more than one identity to talk to other chatters that user will be banned. There is no need to be multiple people. If you are found doing this i will ban you permanently.
Abusing tagboard
Don’t write words that don’t exist. Don’t write Hellllloooo… It just makes you look stupid.
Explicit Conversations/Fighting/Racism
No fighting will be tolerated same goes for racism and etc. Your comments will be deleted and you will be banned.
Complaining
Administrators delete messages. Administrators ban people. That is their job. If your message gets deleted, there was a reason why. You may not agree with the reason, but the administrators run the tag-board, not you.
How to Use the Tagboard
- Allow name registration
Enable this option to allow your users to password-protect their names in your Cbox. This protects users from impersonation by others. Users register their names by clicking the “profile” link in your Cbox after selecting a name. You can make registered names appear in a different color by changing the appropriate color setting on your Colors & Fonts page. - Must be registered to post
With this option enabled, users can only post to your Cbox after they have password-protected their names. This gives you an extra measure of control over who has permission to post. - Automatic maintenance
Tick this option to have Cbox automatically delete registered usernames that have been abandoned (not used in 3 months). This will help to keep your user list manageable and will free up names for others to use.
